Ponytaur 'Starshine'

First Artwork of a Series of Artworks I will be doing. My Little Pony chars as (male) Centaurs! ;3 (Pls don't call em "Bronies" XD) I will only use Ponies from the G1, and not from 'Friendship is Magic', since the G1 Ponies are the ones I grew up with and to whom I have the strongest emotional connection.

As for Starshine's typical symbol: First I wanted to give him some sort of a golden star tattoo on his chest. (The original pony has a golden star too) But then, I decided for a star-shaped branding, for I figured it fits his style much better, with all the piercings and such. ;3

I love this artwork. Though, in a way, I screwed it up... *cries* The original (done with watercolors and colored pencils) looks so much better than this upload here... I tried everything to convey all the details but it didn't work. The scan took away too many details, and the photograph showed too many stains and shades. In die end, I chose the photograph, but had to digitally touch up the colors and such otherwise it would've looked shit... I'm pretty frustrated tbh. And in a way, I regret having it done with traditional media. Since I initially wanted to offer prints of the Ponytaurs. However... I honestly consider coloring the following Ponytaurs with digital media.

However! Next one will be either 'Skylark' or 'Twinkler'~!
